Touch of Mediterranean 138th st in Maryland

"Wonderful place and experience. Doesn't look your typical Mediterranean but we are so glad we gave it a chance. Greeted with enthusiasm as soon as we entered, helped with our order and served quickly. He is an extremely nice guy! Food was delicious, exactly as pictured and large portions. We got both chicken and steak schwarma and the falafels. This place is going on our usual rotation. Can't wait to come back."

"The owner of this restaurant might be the nicest guy in OC. It’s middle of winter and so many places are shut down. I’ve been meaning to try ToM and tonight was the perfect opportunity for carryout. I mistakenly ordered my meal to their downtown location instead of 137th St. The owner was so gracious and offered to make me the order while I waited so I didn’t have to drive 100+ streets. We got to talking and he personally did much of the finishing touches to the restaurant: luxury vinyl flooring, high gloss tile walls and tin ceiling. All tastefully done and the place was spotless. I was impressed and hadn’t even had a bite of their food! Our meal was great — chicken shawarma gyro, lamb gyro and French fries. The chicken was a standout as was the “secret white sauce” which is mild yet horseradish-y. And they JUST added a separate “restaurant” called Beach Burn Chicken inside of ToM which features Nashville Hot Chicken and smash burgers."

"Tried her for the first time in June 2025. I ordered a cheesesteak for lunch. There was no line but a little wait as they made the food fresh. The cheesesteak was very good. Better than I expected."

"OMG. Great Gyro and Chicken Sharma(?). Value? Paid $13.95 for a bread sub at Billy's (couldn't find the meat). Same cost at T.o.M. for the greatest Gyro ever. I could eat the lamb by itself. Tender and ripping with flavor. Got all kinds of greek sides which were wonderful. The owner and the employee (2nd trip) couldn't be nicer. If you're in OC toward the north you'd be a fool to miss it. Back tonight for a 3rd visit!!!"

"My wife and I were looking for a quick dinner last night and almost everything in OCMD was closed by 8 except a few bars and chain fast food. We decided to cruise around town and see what we could find and stumbled upon this place. The food and service were awesome and the owner was super friendly. The homemade secret hot sauce was insanely delicious. You HAVE to try it!"

"Craving wings to go along with watching the Superbowl I figured this was a good time to try Touch of Mediterranean. Ordered online a couple days before, my order was ready when promised. They did not disappoint, huge drums & flats done nice and crunchy. And as a finish got a slice each of the Smith Island cake, original and Red Velvet. Cake slices were moist and oh so good just wish they were a wee bit thicker but delicious non the less. Will definitely be ordering from them again, as they have a large menu to choose from."
